CityServe PDX is an initiative to do just that – serve the city. In a CityServe PDX project you will be a part of different service projects throughout the city of Portland. The passion behind a CityServe PDX project is to listen to the needs of the city of PDX and do what it takes to serve this need.

Details:

Each CityServe PDX project will be from 10am to 3pm. It will include various aspects of service: Yard work, Street Clean up, Graffiti removal, Area beautification and much more. It all depends on what is available.

Tentative Schedule of a CityServe PDX project: This schedule is only to give a general idea of what a day might look like: It is subject to change at any time.

10am Team arrives at location (location is to be determined)

10-10:15 – Leaders Meeting

10:15 – 10:30 – Instructions and Introductions

10:30 – 11:00 – Lunch making (this is if your team does not bring their own lunch)

11:00 – 11:45 – Transport to service area

11:45 – 2:30 – SERVICE (30 Minute lunch will be in there somewhere)

2:00 – 2:30 – Stop and Clean up

2:30 – 3:00pm – on the Road for Home (end of CityServe PDX)

Cost of CityServe PDX:

A CityServe Project costs $35.00 per participant per day.

Cost includes: Sack Lunch, TShirt, Staff and service set up.

What you need to provide:

Transportation

Work gloves and work clothes

Participants with great attitudes.
